Architecniko Design is a firm specializing in the design and construction of curtain walls, windows and doors, and cladding systems, with offices in Conegliano and Verona. Each project is managed from the initial concept through to installation on site, across increasingly complex commissions that often exceed 10,000 square meters.
As projects continued to grow in scale, the company needed to take a major step forward in the tools and methods used across its workflow. The complexity of façade projects, with unique elements, complex geometries, and multiple departments involved, required a shared methodology capable of keeping design, engineering, and construction teams aligned at every stage.
The answer came through the adoption of BIM and Autodesk Revit, introduced gradually with the support of Prisma Tech. The journey began with an initial Revit training course and then evolved into a fully structured working methodology built around BIM.
The result is a seamless, uninterrupted workflow: the team uses Revit for the architectural model and detailed design, Inventor to extract the elements to be manufactured, and then returns to Revit to manage installation on site. All views are constantly updated and connected, coding errors have been drastically reduced, and information on materials and part codes is ready for ordering and production, without the need for manual counting.
BIM has also transformed the way the team works together: designers are always connected with modelers, new resources immediately have a clear process to follow, and the company can scale with greater flexibility. This approach has led to an average 20% reduction in design time, thanks to improved coordination between departments.
