The digital challenge

Simone says: "We had to find a solution for analyzing technical details, prior to component production, for both our staff and the customers. Our goal was to deliver information throughout the whole industrial plan, from engineering department to production."

The general manager continues: "Prisma Tech advised and supported us on this path. In Prisma Tech we have found a skilled technical team, that helped us to efficiently implement the 3D software."

The solution

The company decided to adopt Autodesk Inventor for 3D design and Autodesk Vault for data management.

Marco Zennaro says: "In 2013 the company became familiar with 3D design software, and in 2015 we chose Inventor as the main design solution. We have continued to work with Prisma Tech, and now, thanks to a customized coding system, we can efficiently manage the file storage in Vault."

The technical manager continues: "Vault is now connected to our ERP system, for both workflow managment and code creation."

The results

"At Zanin Nello we manage about 150,000 codes, with a production average of 1,500 new items per month. Thanks to Vault we shortened the design process, by reusing existing components and searching them in an easy way."

The technical manager concludes: "We plan to link Autodesk Vault to our management software, creating bills in Vault. This will help us to avoid errors,  that may occur when passing information from one software to another."
