Madas Elettronica

MADAS is a company specialized in the design and production of custom lighting fixtures, operating in sectors such as construction, architecture, and the marine industry. The ability to respond quickly to customer needs has always been one of its key strengths.

To further strengthen this approach, MADAS chose to integrate Stratasys industrial 3D printing into its production process, with the goal of accelerating prototyping and working with certified materials suitable for high-value technical applications.

The company selected Stratasys, a recognized leader in the industry, also thanks to the support of Prisma Tech, which guided MADAS in assessing and adopting the solution best suited to its needs. The investment was further supported by Industry 4.0 and 5.0 incentives, making the project even more sustainable.

Thanks to the Fortus 450 printer, what previously required weeks through external suppliers can now be managed entirely in-house within just a few hours. The printer is used both for functional prototyping and for the production of tools and fixtures supporting the internal mechanical workshop.

The result is a more agile production process, with less dependence on external suppliers and a new capacity for innovation that MADAS can now offer directly to its customers.

Functional prototypes with certified materials

“When I started considering the purchase of a 3D printer, I decided to invest in an industrial-grade machine, with higher productivity and the ability to use certified materials. The choice of Stratasys came from a suggestion by one of my collaborators: after a brief evaluation, we immediately understood that they were market leaders, and through Prisma Tech they convinced us from the very beginning.”

What used to take weeks can now be achieved with 3D printing: an internal resource can design the product directly and prototype it immediately. Within just a few hours, you already have a functional part.
