PRISMA TECH privacy policy statement

Prisma Tech is committed to protecting the Personal Data entrusted to it. Therefore, we take great care in ensuring their management and security in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679).

Prisma Tech is a solid and reliable partner for Companies that are seeking innovation in their design and production processes and that have chosen to take on the new challenges of Digital 3D technology when implementing Customer Experience.

Our goal is to implement technological solutions to improve the product development process,

particularly for defining the style, engineering, prototyping and the production simulation processes.

We accomplish this by providing software and hardware tools, but also through training and process optimisation consulting based on a "Lean" approach.

Who will process your data?

Your data will be processed by PRISMA TECH, in its capacity as Data Controller, whose headquarters is located at Via Ettore Cristoni, 80 - 40033 Casalecchio di Reno (BO). The Joint Data Controller is VALERIA CAZZARO, based at its operational headquarters in Padua, Via dei Ronchi n. 21, 35127 Padua. The Controller's email address is: privacy@prisma-tech.it


What data do we process?

The Controller will process Personal Data that may consist of an identifier such as your name and surname, mailing address, date of birth, email address, landline and/or mobile phone number, an identification number, an online identifier (hereinafter the "Personal Data").

Why do we need your data?

Prisma Tech will use your data exclusively for the following purposes:

  1. Purposes related to the fulfilment of legal contractual obligations.
  2. Purposes related to the management of the contractual relationship as well as the provision and supply of products and services.
  3. Purposes related to support, updating and information regarding available services and features; activation of online services; carrying out counselling and training activities.
  4. Purposes related to communication and marketing activities. With your specific consent, your common Personal Data will be used for: market research, economic and statistical analysis; commercial information; keeping you up to date on training opportunities; marketing; sending advertising/informational/promotional material and updates on initiatives, promotions and offers from Prisma Tech, and/or from Third Party businesses working in collaboration with Prisma Tech, news and information about Prisma Tech.

What is the Legal Basis for the Processing?

Prisma Tech will process your data:

  • based on your consent;
  • because it is necessary to fulfil the contractual obligations under items 1, 2 and 3;
  • because it is necessary to fulfil the legal obligations, stated in Nos. 1, 2 and 3, to which we are subject (e.g. accounting, payroll, social security obligations);
  • because the processing is necessary to pursue a legitimate interest (e.g. protection and security of company assets, fraud prevention, safeguarding of strategic corporate interests and related business relationships, protection of company assets of client businesses).

Therefore, the provision of Personal Data is required for the purposes stated in Nos. 1, 2, and 3.

The purpose set out in item No. 4 is not the result of a legal obligation, and providing the relevant consent is optional.

If data are not provided in part or in full, this will result in the partial or total impossibility of achieving the purposes stated above.

The extent and adequacy of the Data provided will be evaluated from time to time, so that consequent decisions can be made and to avoid processing data beyond the purposes being pursued.

Your Personal Data will not be used for purposes that are different or in addition to those described in this Policy, unless we inform you in advance and, where necessary, obtain your consent.


How do we use your data?

At Prisma Tech, our aim is to protect the Personal Data entrusted to us, basing our processing on the principles of fairness, lawfulness, and transparency. The processing of your Personal Data is achieved by means of the operations indicated in Article 4, No. 2 of the GDPR, namely: collection, recording, organisation, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, retrieval, alignment, use, combination, restriction, communication, erasure and destruction of data.

We inform you, therefore, that your Personal Data will be processed, through the use of appropriate tools and procedures to ensure maximum security and confidentiality, through archives and paper media, with the aid of digital media, electronic and computerised resources. The communications referred to in item No. 4 may be made using traditional means (e.g. paper mail, telephone calls), or through automated and similar means (e.g. email, sms, mms).

You are, however, given the option to exercise your right to object which, in the absence of your indication to the contrary, will refer to both traditional and automated communications.

How long do we keep your data?

Your Personal Data will be stored, from the time they are received and/or updated, for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes stated above in Nos. 1, 2 and 3, and in any case for no longer than 10 years from the end of the contractual and/or service relationship, after which they will be deleted or rendered anonymous.

For the purposes indicated in item No. 4, the data are stored until the data subject's request to opt out of the sending of communications and/or promotions and/or newsletters, using the methods made available for this purpose.

Do we share your data with other parties ("Recipients")?

Your Personal Data may be shared, for the purposes described above, with parties who typically act as Data Processors, in other words: a) parties with whom interaction is necessary to provide certain services (e.g. hosting providers); b) parties entrusted with providing technical maintenance activities (including the maintenance of network equipment and electronic communication networks); c) third party companies or consultants in charge of the installation, maintenance, updating and, more generally, the management of hardware and software of Prisma Tech S.r.l.; d) all public and/or private individuals and/or legal entities (administrative, tax and legal advisory firms), if their disclosure is necessary or functional to properly fulfil the contractual obligations undertaken in relation to the services provided, as well as the obligations arising under the law; e) all subjects (including public authorities and law enforcement agencies) who have access to the data under regulatory or administrative measures. With reference to purpose No. 4, the Data may also be published on the Internet (for example, on YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and other Social Media as well as on websites) or in magazines, brochures and other advertising material.

Transfers of personal data

For all the purposes set out in this notice, your common Personal Data may also be transferred abroad, within and outside the European Union, subject to the rights and safeguards provided by applicable law, subject to verification that the country in question guarantees an "adequate" level of protection. Your Personal Data are not subject to disclosure.

What are your rights?

Under Articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR, you have the right at any time to request:

  • access to your personal data;
  • their rectification should they be inaccurate;
  • their erasure;
  • that their processing be restricted;
  • the right to object to their processing, if they are processed for direct marketing purposes;
  • the right to their portability, meaning to receive the personal data that you provide in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

We will handle your request with the greatest effort to ensure that your rights are actually exercised. Finally, you will have the right to lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority (Data Protection Supervisor) pursuant to Article 77 of the EU Regulation. Can I withdraw my consent after having given it?

Yes, you may withdraw your consent at any time, but this shall not, however:

  • affect the lawfulness of the processing based on consent given before it is withdrawn;
  • prejudice any other processing of the same data based on other legal grounds (for example, contractual or legal obligations to which Prisma Tech is subject).
